Deadlines for summer/fall 2025:
Ashland: Apply by April 1st
Akron: Apply by April 15th
College Credit Plus (CCP) is a program that allows students to be enrolled in both high school and college coursework at the same time. The following links provide more information about the CCP process.
In order to participate in CCP students need to:
- Fill out an Intent to Participate by April 1 of every year the student wishes to participate
- Participate in a training & counseling about CCP
- Verify that the parent/guardian and student completed the training/counseling (linked here). This is required one time only for each student/family.
- Apply to the college or university of choice.
- Student requests a transcript to be sent to the college/university
REQUIRED: Attend CCP Night held on October 24 OR Video for 2025
Cloverleaf Students can participate in CCP through any university or college they choose. The following schools, Ashland University, The University of Akron, and OSU ATI, are popular choices with Cloverleaf students. See the information below for those schools.

Cloverleaf High School partners with Ashland University to offer CCP courses taught by our teachers in our building. To enroll at Ashland University for CCP please note the following information:
For the 2025-26 school year, applicants can select whether they want their standardized test scores to be included or excluded from the admission review process.
Option #1 - Tradit
ional admission requirements WITH test scores: - 2.50+ GPA
- Appropriate score from the ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer:
- 18 ACT composite, or
- 960 SAT, or
- ONE of the following Accuplacer scores: WritePlacer, 5; Reading, 250; or QAS (math), 263
Option #2 - Admission WITHOUT test scores:
NOTE: Admission to the program does not guarantee placement in a course. Students must be able to satisfy any placement and prerequisite requirements for each course. The CCP coordinator will help students with this at the time of registration.
- For 7th and 8th graders who do not yet have a high school GPA, we will calculate a GPA based on their core courses (math, English, science, and social studies), and use that to determine admission.
- Since test scores will not be needed for admission, we will continue to pause all Accuplacer testing; however, if a student has Accuplacer scores from another college that they would like to use, we will accept them.
- The deadline to apply is June 15 but April 1 is preferred and needed for online course selection.

The CCP application deadline to The University of Akron and Wayne College for the summer/fall semesters is April 15. To begin in the spring semester (January) the deadline is Oct. 15.
The CCP Eligibility Requirements include:
3.0 Cumulative Unweighted High School GPA
Or

ACT English of 18, ACT Reading of 22 or ACT Math of 22.
SAT Evidence-based Reading & Writing of 480 or SAT Math of 530.
Students with at least a 2.75 cumulative unweighted high school GPA will be evaluated by the Office of Admissions to determine if ACT or SAT scores are required.

Please note, admission does not guarantee enrollment into specific college courses. Course registration is contingent upon meeting prerequisites or successfully completing placement testing. Placement testing is administered after students are admitted and should be completed prior to attending a mandatory orientation program.
